Registered Social Workers provide counselling services to individuals, couples and families. Maggie
brings 14 years of experience working with youths and families. She has extensive experience treating
clients with a variety of life challenges, specializing in mental health, addiction, trauma, grief, abuse in
families, anxiety and mood disorders.

Maggie utilizes a variety of therapy modalities to address the needs of individuals, including Cognitive
Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused
Therapy (SFT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) as well as meditation and Reiki. Maggie is knowledgeable and familiar with Indigenous ways of living although she is not an indigenous person herself.
Maggie is a Registered Social Worker with a Master’s Degree and Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and a
diploma in Child and Youth Work. She is motivated to continue educating herself in treatments that will
help her clients meet their full potential.
Maggie works with adult individuals, couples and adolescents, supporting them in overcoming their
obstacles which may present barriers in achieving a strong, healthy sense of self. She utilizes an eclectic
approach and meets clients where they are at in order to begin working towards developing a
meaningful life driven by strengths and values. Maggie approaches all clients with compassion and is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment in which clients can thrive and develop inner strength and wellness.
